Raymond, Alberta…American Creek Resources Ltd. (the “Corporation”) today announced that Kirk Harline has been appointed a Director of the Corporation to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of John Harvey, who will continue his involvement with the Corporation as an Advisor and consultant. Mr. Harline was also appointed the Chair of the Corporation’ s Audit Committee.
Mr. Harline has been the Vice-President and Controller of Servus Credit Union since its amalgamation in 2007 and held the same position with Capital City Savings & Credit Union Ltd., one of the predecessor credit unions, since March 2006. He commenced his employment with Capital City Savings & Credit Union Ltd. in 1997 as Director, Internal Audit. Servus Credit Union is currently a $4 billion financial institution with 50 branches. Mr. Harline received a BSc. and Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University and earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in California. He also holds the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) designations. Mr. Harl ine has worked in risk-based and compliance audits, financial statement auditing, financial planning and reporting, regulatory reporting and the implementation of accounting standards within the corporate accounting processes.

The Board of Directors also granted stock options to acquire an aggregate of 900,000 common shares of the Corporation (“Common Shares”) at an exercise price of $0.33 per Common Share under the Corporation’s stock option plan to certain Directors, officers, employees and consultants, of which stock options to acquire an aggregate of 400,000 Common Shares were granted to Directors and officers of the Corporation.
The Corporation also announced that it is no longer using the consulting services of Brent Ambrose, who was formerly the Vice-President, Exploration and Development of the Corporation.
