American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: AMK) (“American Creek” or “the Corporation”)is pleased to announce that Reasons for Judgement have been delivered by the trial judge on the matter of costs in the Treaty Creek litigation.

American Creek has been awarded costs at the highest scale based on the British Columbia Supreme Court Rules costs tariff for the full proceeding, plus “special costs” (to be assessed by the registrar and based on American Creek's reasonable and necessary legal fees) for certain specified aspects of the proceeding, and additional costs based on Teuton's refusal to make requested admissions, as well as its litigation disbursements in an agreed amount.  American Creek's application for all of its costs to be assessed as special costs, and for an uplift and double its tariff costs was dismissed.

The appeal proceedings in the Treaty Creek litigation are scheduled to be heard in the British Columbia Court of Appeal on January 19-21, 2015. The Corporation is confident in the decision of the British Columbia Supreme Court and expects that it will also prevail in the Court of Appeal.
