RAYMOND, Alberta – American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:AMK) is very pleased to announce that Mike Muzylowski has joined its Board of Directors. “Mike is one of the most respected people in the industry” stated Allan Burton, President. “He has vast experience in every aspect of the mining business, all the way from exploration to production. Mr. Muzylowski is a highly regarded geologist with a number of successful discoveries that highlight over 40 years of senior exploration and mining experience. He holds a B.Sc. in geology from the University of Manitoba. Mike joined Hudson Bay Exploration and Development Co. Ltd. in 1955 and held various positions including Chief Geophysicist, Senior Project Geologist, and Assistant Superintendent of Exploration and Development. From 1970 to 1984 he was a senior executive for Granges Exploration, overseeing the eventual sale of the company to MIM. Mike was the discoverer of the Trout Lake Ore body at Flin Flon, Manitoba. This deposit has been in continuous production since 1984. In 1984, Mike became President and CEO of Granges, taking revenues from $4 million to $65 million per year. He became Chairman and CEO of Hycroft Resources, a large open pit, heap leach gold deposit, and was responsible for increasing production to over 100,000 ounces of gold per year. Mr. Muzylowski was the 1988 recipient of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Developer of the Year Award, in recognition of being involved in discovering 15 fifteen ore bodies. Mike was involved with the sale of the Winspear company and it's Snap Lake Diamond Project to DeBeers. He is currently President and CEO of Callinan Mines Limited.
Mr. Muzylowski’s appointment is subject to approval from the TSX-Venture Exchange.
