Raymond, Alberta - American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:AMK) is pleased to announce that the Electrum Project Phase II drilling program announced on October 18, 2006 has been successfully concluded. An aggregate total of 1,753.28 metres of BQ2 diamond drilling was completed in 10 holes. Drill core logging and splitting is currently underway at the American Creek facility in Stewart, British Columbia. Approximately half of the core has been sent to ACME Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver, B.C. for assay with the remainder to be shipped this week.
American Creek Resources Ltd. is a Canadian miner al exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and silver deposits, with 8 projects in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
The Corporation’s priority at present is the Electrum Project located in the “Golden Triangle” approximately 45km north of Stewart, British Columbia, near past operating mines including the Riverside, Scotty Gold, Granduc, and Silbak-Premier. The Electrum encompasses the historic East Gold mine. Barrick’s world-class Eskay Creek mine is located approximately 50km north of the project. The Electrum is road accessible and is only 45km from concentrate shipping port facilities located in Stewart.
The Corporation commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on September 6, 2006 under the stock symbol “AMK”.
