AMK Office 2

March 5, 2007

Raymond, Alberta…American Creek Resources Ltd. (“the Corporation) (TSX Venture: AMK) is pleased to announce that it has completed 14 diamond drill holes totaling 3003 metres to date on its Austruck-Bonanza Project, located near Kamloops in southcentral BC. Assay results have been returned from the first 4 drill holes totaling 758 metres of core. Drilling was designed to test for potential gold-bearing veins similar to those previously mined at the historic Bonaparte Mine. The Bonaparte Mine, owned by others, is located immediately adjacent to the property. A historic bulk sample of 3,700 tonnes was obtained and processed from the Bonaparte Mine, returning a reported average grade of 26.5 grams gold per tonne. Drilling completed by American Creek has primarily been executed within close proximity to the Mine. Several holes tested similar geologic settings up to 1.5 kilometres north of the mine.

Drilling has intersected Devonian to Permian aged sedimentary rocks of the Harper Ranch Group, which is intruded by diorite that is possibly related to Triassic aged Nicola Group volcanism. The sedimentary rocks are primarily composed of silty to limey mudstones that have been variably altered, including hornfelsed and skarny sections. The sedimentary rocks, and to a lesser degree the intrusive rocks, host narrow quartz-carbonate veins that contain variable amounts of sphalerite, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, and molybenite.

Diamond drill core samples are being processed at Eco-Tech Laboratory Ltd. in Kamloops, British Columbia. The following table summarizes the results from the first 4 drill holes: Page 1 of 2

The best values to date were obtained from quartz-carbonate veins and alteration zones adjacent to and within the diorite intrusive rocks. These alteration zones, along with the gold, silver and copper values, are promising indicators for the potential of this area. The remaining drill holes are currently being processed, with the next batch of assay results expected to be received and announced by the end of March.

The company is currently undertaking ground geophysical surveys to further define targets for continued drilling on the Austruck-Bonanza property. Applications for permitting are in progress to allow further access for drilling of targeted areas. As well, ground geophysical surveys are planned to cover regional targets that were delineated by American Creek's airborne geophysical survey, completed in 2006.

American Creek Resources Ltd. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and silver deposits, with several projects in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
