American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:AMK) (the “Corporation”) wishes to provide a further update in the litigation with Teuton Resources Corp. (TSX-V:TUO) (“Teuton”).
TEUTON’S STAY APPLICATION DENIED
The Corporation reports that on February 2, 2015 Teuton’s application for a stay of the enforcement proceedings against Teuton by the Corporation (see the Corporation’s press release dated January 26, 2015) was denied by the British Columbia Court of Appeal. The Corporation will proceed with enforcement of its judgment against Teuton.
APPEAL HEARING
As previously reported, the Corporation was successful at trial in the litigation with Teuton over ownership of the Treaty Creek property. Teuton has appealed the Court’s decision. The British Columbia Court of Appeal will hear the appeal on March 9-11, 2015.
SPECIAL COSTS HEARING
The hearing to determine the amount of special costs owed by Teuton to the Corporation will be held March 31 and April 1, 2015.
CONSPIRACY / DEFAMATION LITIGATION
The litigation against Teuton, Teuton’s president Dino Cremonese, and others for conspiracy and defamation will proceed.
The Corporation will continue to provide litigation updates as these matters progress.
